As the CEO and Owner of Advocate Investing Services, Joseph Gallagher knows a thing or two about investing. His 25 years of experience in the financial services industry have taught him to be inquisitive, predictive, and patient when steering through changing markets. Ultimately, Joe’s goal is to create financial strategies that cater to his clients’ goals, family needs, and personal values. Following the golden rule “Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself” allows Joseph to blend his immersive financial experience with his clients’ holistic goals.
Joe holds an MBA degree, is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative and is a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional. His ongoing dedication to clients from all walks of life has allowed him to partner with the CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies, Members of Congress, and even celebrities. Ultimately, though, his passion lies in helping hardworking families prepare for their financial future.
When he’s not helping clients prepare for the years ahead, Joseph devotes his time to his favorite hobbies: running, triathlons, skiing, and Hap Ki Do, where he has earned his black belt. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and he blends his parenting skills and passion for sports by coaching soccer, basketball, football, lacrosse and baseball in the Mount Airy community. Joseph and his wife, Dena, are also involved with many non-profit organizations, including The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mount Saint Joseph High School, The American College of Nurses-Midwives and UMBC.
