
Dena Gallagher has 26 years of Financial Management experience. Since 2007, she has managed the corporate financial planning needs of both Advocate Investing and another small service business, NTT Associates, Inc. In this capacity she manages, plans and executes all cash management, budget and tax planning needs of the businesses. Additionally, she helps several high-net worth individuals with their overall financial planning/record keeping needs. She has volunteered her corporate finance expertise with many non-profit organizations, serving as the treasurer of a local middle and elementary school parent/teacher/student organizations. Additionally, she served as a member of the Board of Directors for the University of Maryland Foundation for 10 years and is currently an emeritus member.
Prior to 2007, Dena was the Vice President of Administration and Assistant Portfolio Manager of The Edgar Lomax Company (starting in 1996). In this role, she managed the day-to-day operations of the firm and maintained model investment portfolios used for investing client accounts. Ms. Gallagher also served on the investment and management committees and was its Corporate Secretary and Controller. The Edgar Lomax Company, at the time was a large cap value manager managing just over $2 billion of assets for various public, union and corporate pension plans, high-net worth individuals as well as the Edgar Lomax Value Fund. Prior to Edgar Lomax, she was a business analyst and operations manager for Fidelity Investments.
